Product Description

19th Century : Double bow fronted table fork with 2 clips.

Option : Eight 5/8" No. 4 countersunk colour-matched brass screws.

OPTION : This casting is supplied at a budget price with a basic machine tumble polished finish which is rather dull caused by minute pitting from bead blasting. We can buff polish by hand to a smooth finish as an option if selected by clicking on the OPTION box above, or supply machine polished if left unticked.

FORKS:
Height of shaped front face on bows 16mm. (5/8")
External width 67mm. (2 5/8")
Internal width 47mm. (1 13/16")
External width of shaped front face 75mm. (2 15/16")
Thickness of forks 3mm. (1/8")
Length of fork prongs (from rear of face plate) 63mm. (2 1/2")

CLIPS:
Length 37mm. (1 7/16")
Width 28 mm. (1 1/16")
Depth 8mm. (5/16")

Used for holding together table leaves and closing up unsightly gaps in a table top.

Note : The design of these clips is unsprung, and the fork relies on slightly tapering arms to lock tightly in place.
