19th Century : Oval plate with 'D' handle.

Raised incription : "Hourra Cossack" Charging cossack horse rider with background of field tents.

Pommel to pommel centres 72mm. (2 13/16")

BACKPLATE
Centres : 71mm. (2 13/16")
Height 61mm. (2 3/8")
Width 113mm. (4 7/16")
Depth 11mm. (3/8")

POMMEL
Diam. 9mm. (5/16")
Height 35mm. (1 3/8")
Head 9mm. (5/16") + round shaft 12mm. (7/16") + 14mm. (9/16") threaded rod.
Internal pommel hole diam. 4.5mm. (3/16")
