Product Description

18th Century : Plain insert thread escutcheon.

Option : This casting is supplied at a budget price with a basic machine tumble polished finish which is rather dull caused by minute pitting from bead blasting. We can buff polish by hand to a smooth finish as an option if selected by clicking on the OPTION box above, or supply machine polished if left unticked.

Height 28mm. (1 1/16")
Width top 12mm. (7/16")
Width base 14mm. (9/16")
Depth 5mm. (3/16")
Thickness (variable) 1.5mm. (1/16")

KEYHOLE
Height 25mm. (1")
Diam. of hole 9mm. (5/16")
Width at narrowest part of neck 5mm. (3/16")
Width at base of taper 9.5mm. (3/8")

Usually glued in or could be pinned from inside flange.

There is an escutcheon pin fixing holes inside top of flanged insert.

Note: Small defect bottom right-hand return missing.
