Product Description

20th Century : Large heavy duty horizontal or vertical plain letter plate with sprung plain flap.

BACKPLATE
Width 298mm. (11 5/8")
Height 100mm. (4").

LETTER PLATE FLAP
Height 48mm. (2").
Width 217mm. (8 1/2")

Allow an aperture of 230mm. (9 1/16") x 70mm. (2 3/4") to accommodate bevel and spring mechanism.

Max. door thickness 88mm. (3 1/2 inches)

Supplied with 4 hand-made bolts with anti-theft brass dome heads; square shoulder and hand cut chamfered and polished brass nuts.

(Date stamped 1903 on reverse).

Note : Irregular edges and inconsistencies give this letter plate a specific character quality. (If you are looking for straight edges and conformity, this product may not be suitable for you).
