Product Description

20th Century : Miniature drop handle with slightly raised hollow pierced and engraved backplate.

DROP
Height 19mm. (3/4")
Diam. 5mm. (3/16")

BACKPLATE
Diam. 21mm. (13/16")
Thickness 1mm. (1/16")
Height 2.5mm. (1/8")
Central pommel hole Diam. 3mm. (1/8")

STRAP
Shaft length 24mm. (15/16")
Internal diam. of ring 2.5mm. (1/8")
Width 2mm. (1/16")

Original believed to have come from miniature lacquer chest.

Split pin is passed through hole and bent back. If bending back, it is recommended that the pin is softned by annealing. (Heat to cherry red colour, and plunge into cold water).
